Wasn't expecting to be giving a 5* review but 6 of us thoroughly enjoyed our beef, pork, ham hock and burger lunches today. Service was excellent at the table and bar thankyou, the food was hot and the meat tender and tasty. The booking system seems to keep this busy pub restaurant running smoothly. Will be back!

The chips were tasty, but a bit style over substance, but the pie...no word of a lie...its reset the bar for how amazing a pie can be....filling and pastry perfection. Will be going back for sure.

To be fair, only reviewing the pub, not food.
Sunday tea time and we rudely got moved from a table pub-left, as it's apparently "dining only", and even at 4.30pm all reserved (which seems odd at this time of day).
As there was nowhere to sit in this now very open plan, no walls, pub-restaurant on a busy Sunday post lunch, we were forced to share a table.
Good to know, definitely not our kind of place, but I'm sure the food is great 🙂

My first time having a pie, and it was delicious! Super crunchy crust and the gravy was so yummy. Also can really recommend the 10% chocolate stout if you wanna try something novel.

Really enjoyed a pre xmas meet up with close friends for a meal and drinks. Reasonably priced, great food, service and atmosphere. Will definitely be returning.

Disappointed with the Xmas turkey dinner. The service was slow and for the price I paid (£17), I thought the turkey dinner was very average. The turkey portion was small and tasteless. The roast potatoes were poor and tasted like they had been microwaved.
I'd heard good things about the broadfield's food but I probably won't eat here again given the amount of options in the area.
The atmosphere was lively and the beer was fairly priced.

Fantastic service. Our staff loved having their staff Christmas meal there. Please, next year, make sure the Christmas pudding has a good amount of custard rather than the drizzle served
